Being a part of Nature’s Paradigm means that I am not only designing with nature, but also producing in a way with nature in mind. I am committed to creating products and shipping products in the most sustainable way. I do this by finding value in old, forgotten, and abandonded items and giving them a new purpose. Instead of creating new, I create with what has been created.

What does “Natures Paradigm” mean?

A paradigm is a way a community lives and interacts in the world. A paradigm shift, is mostly a change in concepts and understandings. Nature’s Paradigm is where we return to a world where we live with Nature sustainably, and understand our connections to the nature world. This means understanding we are in a mutalistic relationship with Nature and should not expend it for our gain. I believe a great deal of people in todays society have forgotten that. We have become very disconnected from our nature because of the values that we place in success. But in pursuing what society believes is successful, we are chasing a life that takes us away from our connection with the land and the natural world around us.

Inspiration, Style, and Meaning

With Nature’s Paradigm I pulls inspiration from nature for my designs and find connections and irony in today’s society. I advocate for the protection of all things in Nature from the smallest weed to the biggest cloud. All things in nature are beautiful and full of life.

I mostly design with 3 basic natural colors that we see everyday, blue for the water/sky,  brown for the dirt/trees, and green for the grass, plants. Blue, brown, and green, are the colors that represent natures paradigm and the layers of the earth. Water, land, dirt. Sky, land, and what lies beneath. My background textures are made digitally through scanning in handmade recycled paper I created.

All of my products/designs are designed with intention, packed with various layers of symbolism and meaning that is left up for interpreatation.
